The Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) was established in 1971 with a mission to achieve excellence in agricultural education, research, and extension, ensuring sustainable development and livelihood security for the farming community. The College of Agriculture, Vellayani, under KAU , is a premier institution offering undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs.
This platform is designed by Kerala Agricultural University, Center for Agricultural Innovations and Technology Transfer (CAITT, Vellayani) to support urban farmers involved in cultivation either on rooftops/homesteads/fields in Thiruvananthapuram. Urban farmers can post their doubts with photographs and get it cleared by our team. They can also sell their excess produce by displaying its photograph & price at the risk of the seller/buyer.
